I attended an interesting conference last week in Washington DC.  One of the most thought-provoking presentations I saw was a study on the impact of an oil crisis on Africa.  in short, the result would be a catastrophic, and it is not a farfetched idea.  Please download and view the research report here: Impacts of oil crisis on Sub-Saharan Africa

Imagine the impact we would feel in America if gasoline went from $4 per gallon to $10; or more. It will undoubtedly happen.  The question is when. How we you and your family fair? -Many Americans will, lose jobs and those who have them still probably won’t be able to afford to get to work. What will happen to the food supply?  In Africa, where the poorest people in the world live, it gets even worse.  

 In these unstable times in the Middle East, and having already reached peak oil, this is truly something we should all be aware of.
